This handle/ tong holds round crucibles that range in diameter from 2-7/8” up to 3” (that’s for outer diameter). 

 

This handle is used when melting metals with a Torch. 


The crucible holder shaft is steel mounted into a hardwood handle. 

The shaft is  1/2” wide x 1/8” thick steel, with a 1/4” screw and wing nut to assure a firm

 hold while transferring liquid metals.  

Overall length of handle measures approximately: 18”
