Manual hand drill double pininion

First item that arrived was damaged second replacement was ok. Pinion gears were aluminion and not steel or brass otherwise fine. Thanks for the delivery

OK Hand Drill

The drill is sturdy with a good quality 1-10mm chuck. I was a bit confused by the wording "Separate Chuck For Fine Precision Drilling" which seemed to imply that this was in addition to one already fitted (for coarse work?). But no, only the one chuck supplied. I had to file off a protruding burr on one of the cogs of chuck key in order for it to turn without jamming. When I first assembled the drill handle, the crown wheel did not mesh with the pinions because the crown wheel was too slack on its shaft. This I cured by fitting a plain spacer washer between the handle and wheel to take up the slack (A washer seems to be shown in the published picture but was not included with the item I received. Having said that, the crown wheel I received was coloured red and of a different design although the rest of the parts look the same.
