Planishing hammer

Yes, for the price I would say this hammer was of good quality. I use it to reduce small (70gram or less) silver ingots prior to rolling.

This Combination Planishing and Grooving also Doubles as a Forging Hammers for 

light to medium weight forging projects. 

The face is the perfect size at just over 1″ (28 mm) for forging medium gauge silver stock. 

The cross peen end is ideal for drawing out and tapering round and square stock wire .

This is a versatile classic shape hammer and 300 grams is a great weight for most 

jewellery projects at a great price.
