These pliers fit nicely in the hand and are comfortable to use, with no sharp edges or loose parts. The handles are sprung on one side to return them to an open position when you’re not exerting force, and do a good job although there are fittings for springs in both arms should you ever want to removereplace it or add your own second spring. The jaw action is smooth and, although they all have a parallel action, all of the plier jaws come together at the tip leaving a gap near the pivot of between a half and two millimetres until you exert a little more force to push them together. I can’t imagine this being a problem for most jewellery, modelling, mechanical work etc, but if you’re working with a particularly soft material then be aware that the steel jawed pairs could leave a mark, which is exactly what the brass and nylon sets are for. I’m very happy with this set and will buy others in the range as I need them.
