Whip Tong Handles:

The “Whip” is a crucible dish holder was invented by a jeweler. 

The handle is made of Stainless Steel wire and works by squeezing it to open to hold the crucible.

 It is a reverse action tool.

This handy instrument pinches and holds the dish in place for pouring of the molten metal.

The WHIP makes a lot of sense when using small melting dishes. 

This is the Small Size, which holds the 2 small size melting dishes 2” & 3”.

Small Whip Handle length is 9-3/4″ is made of Stainless Steel Wire.

Small Whip Handle has a capacity to hold and fits the Small Dish Crucible 

Diameter 1-3/4″ and Medium Dish Crucible Diameter 2-1/4″.


 Ceramic Crucible Dishes:

Melting dish crucibles can be used for melting Gold, Silver, Brass, Copper and other metals.

  
Crucibles are made of clay bonded high grade fused silica and withstand temperatures up to 2500°F/1371°C.

Pre- heat the crucible prior to use and glaze with Borax, this will prolong the life of the crucible.
